Zoe and Richard were First Time Buyer customers of Adam Nanson
Zoe and Richard from Salisbury had rented for a while. But, with a new baby on the way and a two year old son, they wanted to buy their first home so they had more stability for the future.
They were recommended Adam Nanson, Managing Director of Your Mortgage Expert, by a friend. And, since they wanted impartial advice thought he would be ideal. Zoe comments on how she found their experience:
“As First Time Buyers, we weren’t sure about the whole process so, we needed someone who could explain each step to us in layman terms! We weren’t even sure we could get the size mortgage we needed or how to go about sorting things out. The process seemed very daunting for us, as first time buyers and Adam made it much easier and less scary! We had several face to face meetings with him as we live near his offices in Salisbury. I prefer this as sometimes you can miss things on the phone.
“We fell in love with a house, but our budget was really tight and so were the timescales. Adam found a mortgage that worked for us and having gone through all our commitments with him, we were sure we could afford the deposit and the monthly repayments.
“He was always to hand whenever I needed to ask him a question or if I needed him to troubleshoot any issues that came up. Which they did! Near the end of completion, our vendors suddenly moved the deadline dates and it all became very stressful. But, with Adam’s help, and with him putting constant pressure on our solicitors and mortgage provider we got it all sorted in time!
“I would highly recommend Adam for his helpful and hardworking attitude. In fact, both my mother and sister have now used his mortgage advice services and I intend to use him again next year when our fixed-term mortgage comes to an end.”
