Why are you offering this discount?

“Since we launched Your Mortgage Expert, we have had a great deal of support from members of the armed forces. We therefore understand some of the challenges they can face when applying for mortgages and have a great deal of experience with helping them to overcome these challenges.

“For example, some people within the forces find that their credit score is low because they’ve been stationed abroad for long periods of time or because they’ve been stationed at several UK bases meaning they have multiple addresses over the last few years. In addition, their payslips can sometimes be complex and difficult to understand.

We also have experience with helping clients to access the Forces Help to Buy Scheme.

How does the discount work?

Adam Nanson continues:

“If you use our services to take out a mortgage or remortgage, we will offer you a 25% discount off our standard fee. Our fee is payable upon completion of your mortgage and you won’t pay us a penny if your mortgage does not go ahead or you choose not to use our services.

“The discount is available to any member of the military serving in her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Including: the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, the UK’s principal land warfare branch, and the Royal Air Force. You can either be in active service or retired ex-military personnel. We also offer a discount to civilian support staff.

“Just let your mortgage adviser know that you are a member of the armed forces and that you would like to take advantage of the offer when you speak with us and we will apply your discount when your mortgage completes.”
